New distinctions for researchers of ”Nicolae Testemitanu” University at Infoinvent-2023 exhibition

The inventions presented by the inventors and researchers of ”Nicolae Testemitanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy at the Infoinvent-2023 International Specialized Exhibition were appreciated with 24 distinctions, including 21 medals, 3 trophies, diplomas and special mentions from the Intellectual Property State Agency of the Republic of Moldova, the national partners and the international institutions present at the event. The distinctions were handed out on December 8 during a celebration ceremony.
Thus, the team of inventors consisting of Gheorghe Anghelici, Oleg Crudu, Serghei Pisarenco, Gheorghe Lupu and Andrei Grib was awarded the Grand Prize of AGEPI "The best invention", for the work "Method to reduce portal hypertension for the treatment of patients with liver cirrhosis".
Scientific researcher Valeriana Pantea, Biochemistry Laboratory and Scientific Medicine Center, received the trophy for "The best invention created by a female inventor", for the invention "Method for assessing the influence of biologically active substances on the sulfurized hydrogen production capacity of a biological tissue".
Doctoral student Pavel Leahu, assistant professor at Department of Neurology no. 2, and academician Stanislav Groppa, university professor and head of Department of Neurology no.2, became laureates in the "Best Research Project" category, with the project "Multifocal Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in the Treatment of Migraine Patients".
At the same time, the team represented by Eugeniu Valic, Vladimir Valic and Ion Mereuță received the "Special Award" Diploma, for the work "Method of visualizing the 3D model of the mammary gland and its tumor by means of luminescence for teaching purposes by means of the Brilum-Can 3D model ", awarded by the "CorneliuGroup" Research-Innovation Association from Romania.
During the event, almost 450 inventions, innovative projects and creative products were exhibited, the authors of which come from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, China, Poland, France, Malaysia, Taiwan, Cambodia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Ukraine and Belgium. In total, 295 medals were awarded, of which 138 – gold, 80 – silver and 77 – bronze.
The Infoinvent international specialized exhibition took place between November 22-24, 2023, and was organized by the State Agency for Intellectual Property in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture, the National Agency for Research and Development and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research.
